Allison Burback
(SHE/HER)
REGISTERED MIDWIFE (RM)
Allison Burback is a dedicated and highly experienced Registered Midwife, with over a decade of clinical practice, who has been supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. In 2010, she began her midwifery training in Dunedin, New Zealand where she completed her formal education and gained a strong foundation in evidence-based and person-centered care. In 2016, she completed the Internationally Educated Midwifery Bridging Program (IEMBP) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and has since been practicing in British Columbia.
She brings a calm, compassionate presence to her work with a focus on supporting informed choice and continuity of care. She truly values building trusting relationships with clients and believes in working collaboratively with families to support individualized needs and preferences throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Her international training and diverse clinical experience allow her to work confidently in a variety of birth settings and cultural contexts.
Outside of midwifery, Allison is a proud mother of three and loves spending time with her family and friends. During her time off call, she enjoys hiking the trails around Squamish, planning her next adventure — whether sailing or diving with sharks — and spending quality time with her loved ones.
