At Blume Maternity Care, our collaborative team provides high-quality and evidence-based maternity care services that is based on the midwifery model of practice throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. POSTPARTUM-ONLY CLIENTS
Our team currently offers postpartum-only midwifery care for families living in Surrey, BC and nearby communities. We provide personalized postpartum care for you and your newborn for the first 6 weeks after birth. During this time, we will check in on your physical healing, support you with infant feeding (whether you choose to breastfeed, chestfeed, or bottle feed), guide you through newborn care, and be here to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.

What Is a Midwife?
In British Columbia, Registered Midwives (RM) are licensed and highly trained primary care providers — similar to family doctors and nurse practitioners — but what makes us unique is that we are trained to provide care during pregnancy, birth, and the first 6 weeks after birth.
Our Registered Midwives (RM) are all licensed through the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and we follow their standards and guidelines in order to provide safe and evidence-based care to families. When you're in the care of a midwife, you're in the hands of a trusted healthcare professional who is here to support you and your growing family, every step of the way!
